POP3-to-Exchange MigrationMercurion Systems assisted in the implementation of a new e-mail system based on Exchange 2000 Server. This e-mail system was replacing a POP3/SMTP-based system for a municipality. Working in conjunction with the municipality's current e-mail provider, we crafted a solution that allowed for complete coexistence between two different e-mail domains hosted on two different authoritative SMTP servers, paving the way for the migration of over 750 e-mail users from POP3/SMTP and personal mail stores created in Outlook to a pair of clustered Exchange 2000 servers.
