About This SiteThe Mercurion Systems web site was developed internally, using ordinary HTML editing applications. Although the site lacks some of the fancy formatting, pop-up menus, and dynamic elements that other sites may offer, this is intentional. We specifically set out to create a platform-agnostic site built with accepted standards that would render consistently across as many platforms and browsers as possible. This web site was tested using the following browsers on the following platforms:
Wherever possible, we avoided platform-specific fonts. Where specific fonts were used, we specified generic alternatives. We also tried to avoid browser-specific functionality and formatting commands, and used HTML commands and tags that were supported by as many browsers and platforms as possible. Of course, it's impossible to make a site render perfectly across all browsers and platforms, but we have striven to do the best we can. In addition, we submitted the web site to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) for validation for full compliance with the XHTML 1.0 standard. We are proud to display the following banner showing our compliance with the W3C standards: If you're using a browser other than one of the ones listed above and would like to provide some feedback on how our site renders in your browser, please send the webmaster an e-mail and let us know. Thanks, and we hope you find something useful on our site.
